What this is
Token usage shows how much AI your account has used. A token is a small piece of text the AI reads or writes. Longer comments, bigger reports, and longer data-chat conversations use more tokens.
Usage is counted for your account and any child users (for example analysts created under you).
How to open it
- Go to My Profile.
- Open the AI tab.
- Select Token usage.
The summary tiles
- Last 7 days — tokens used in the past week.
- This month — tokens used in the current calendar month. If your account has a monthly allocation, you will also see the percentage used (for example 42% of monthly allocation).
- Last 6 months — tokens used over a rolling six-month window.
Your monthly allocation is set by trustMinder. You cannot change the number on this page. If you need a higher limit, contact your trustMinder account manager.
If you go past the monthly allocation, AI features may ask you to confirm before continuing. That confirmation is recorded. It does not increase the allocation; it only lets you proceed for that request.
Chart and filters
Rolling 6 months is a chart of usage over time.
If other users (such as analysts) have used AI under your account, you will see chips under By user. Click a name to filter the chart to that person, or click All to show everyone again.
Usage history
The table lists individual AI requests:
- Date — when the request ran.
- User — who ran it.
- Feature — what it was used for (for example comment summary, insights report, data chat, or survey create).
- Input / Output / Total — tokens sent to the model, tokens returned, and the sum.
Use the page controls at the bottom if there are many rows. If the table is empty, no AI usage has been recorded for this account yet.
Tips to stay within allocation
- Use a tighter date range and fewer campaigns when generating a report or summary.
- In data chat, prefer one clear question over repeating the same large analysis.
- Avoid regenerating the same report unless you have changed filters or the question.
