What this is
Branding sets the look of your emails and surveys: company name, logo, colours, font, and footer address. These are the defaults used in email templates and in survey design (SurveyJS).
Changing branding here does not rewrite emails or surveys you have already sent. New and updated templates and surveys pick up the saved settings.
How to open it
- Go to My Profile.
- Open the Branding tab.
The left side is the settings. The right side is a live Preview of an example email (header, body, button, and footer).
Identity
- Company name — shown in the header and footer of the preview (and in branded emails).
- Logo — upload a JPEG, JPG, GIF, WebP, or PNG image, maximum 1MB. Use Replace logo to change it, or Remove to clear it.
Use a logo with a transparent or simple background so it reads clearly on your header colour. Wide logos work better than very tall ones.
Colours
Click the colour square or type a hex code (for example #2563eb).
| Setting | Where it appears |
|---|---|
| Header background | Top bar behind the logo and company name |
| Footer background | Bottom bar (copyright, address, unsubscribe) |
| Button colour | Call-to-action buttons |
| Body background | The page behind the email content (often a light grey) |
| Content background | The main message area (often white) |
| Text colour | Paragraph text in the content area |
Check the preview after each change. Aim for strong contrast: dark text on a light content background, and a button colour that stands out from both.
Typography and footer
- Font family — Arial, Helvetica, Georgia, Times New Roman, Verdana, Trebuchet MS, or Courier New. These are fonts that work reliably in email.
- Base font size — 14px to 18px.
- Company address — shown in the footer. Include the address you want customers to see (and that matches your email compliance needs).
Save and reset
- Save branding settings stores everything, including a newly uploaded logo.
- Reset to defaults restores trustMinder’s standard colours and fonts. It does not send anything. Save afterwards if you want to keep the defaults.
Always save before you leave the page, or unsaved colour and text changes will be lost. A logo upload is stored when you upload it; still click Save so name, colours, and address stay in sync.
Where branding is used
- Email templates and email campaigns that use your account branding.
- Survey design (SurveyJS), so the customer-facing survey can match the same logo and colours.
Individual templates or surveys may still have their own overrides. If a specific email does not match this page, check that template’s design as well.
Tips
- Keep the header colour close to your usual brand colour so the logo looks at home.
- Avoid very light button colours on a white content area — the button can disappear.
- Send a test email after a branding change before a large send.
